Q&A -How do we work fitness and health into our busy schedule? 🏋🏻‍♀️🥘🚰

Hi Tribe! I am Tara Hux, BSN, RN, CPT. I'm a NICU nurse and I am currently studying to be critical care certified (I test in the fall!). In addition to being a nurse, the CPT stands for certified personal trainer. I'm the founder of the Fit Nurse Academy and I've made it my mission to help nurses get fit with proper nutrition and fun ways to exercise. The transition into the nursing career was very challenging for me and I let my health sit on the back-burner as a new nurse. I was so confused about what to eat, when to eat (night shift probs!), and how in the world to have time to eat healthy or exercise. It took me years to figure it out and now that I finally know how to balance everything I want to share my expertise with nurses everywhere.

Fun fact: My favorite "guilty pleasure" food is ice cream sandwiches and I eat them all the time! I'm loving being a part of the Tribe and I'm excited to get to know all of the members better!
